A note from Trey

Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about Suntrup Automotive Group and about me.

Suntrup has served the St. Louis community for generations. What began with my great-uncle has been strengthened by each generation since — including my father and uncle, whose leadership shaped the company we are today. I have the privilege of writing the next chapter.

For me, leadership isn't about preserving the past or simply chasing the future. It's about honoring the values that built this company while preparing it for what comes next. I believe progress begins with asking better questions — challenging assumptions, testing ideas, learning from experience, and staying curious enough to recognize there's almost always a better way. That mindset shapes how I approach our business every day.

Technology is changing this industry faster than ever. We have a real opportunity to embrace that change — not because it's new, but because it can create a better experience for our employees and our customers. Innovation should simplify complexity and remove friction, so people can focus on what matters most: building relationships and serving others well.

But one thing never changes. People are the heart of this company.

My goal isn't simply to build a successful business. It's to build an organization where kind, smart, and ambitious people can build meaningful careers — where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are welcomed, and continuous improvement is part of who we are.

If we keep learning, keep improving, and keep investing in great people, our best chapters are still ahead. I'm grateful to our employees, customers, partners, and community for being part of that journey.
